In her book <em>Easy Japanese Cooking<\/em>, she shares her wonderful \u2018Harumi\u2019s Grilling Sauce\u2019, which I fell in love with straight away. A dash of chilli oil gives my barbecue sauce that final kick!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The barbecue sauce is also great as a dip or side sauce for other dishes! Bring the red wine to a gentle simmer in a saucepan and stir in the soy sauce, honey, sugar and Miso. Add the chopped ingredients, sesame seeds and chilli oil and heat gently until the apples have softened. Then pur\u00e9e the mixture into a creamy sauce.
