What is Matcha?
Matcha is a finely ground green tea powder traditionally used in Japan. Unlike infused tea, the whole tea leaf is consumed. As a result, Matcha is particularly rich in flavour and is used both as a drink and in cooking.
What does Matcha taste like?

How do I prepare Matcha tea?
To prepare it, pour hot but not boiling water (approx. 70–80 °C) over the powder and whisk with a bamboo whisk or a standard whisk until frothy. This produces a smooth, aromatic drink.

How do I store Matcha properly?
Matcha should be stored in an airtight container, in a cool place away from light, ideally in the fridge. Use it as soon as possible after opening, as the powder is sensitive to light and oxygen and will otherwise lose its flavour.
