Shelf life and storage:
The soy sauce comes directly from Japan and has a shelf life of 12 months as specified by the manufacturer. As transport by ship to Europe usually takes at least 6 months, the best-before date printed on the bottle is correspondingly shorter upon arrival. Please note, therefore, that the remaining shelf life of the product at the time of sale is often only a few months or weeks. The quality and taste remain unchanged, however, as long as the soy sauce is stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, be sure to keep it in the fridge.
