Miso paste is a fermented soya bean paste and one of the world’s best-known ingredients in Japanese cuisine. The paste is very versatile and can be used in many ways: it is used to prepare both savoury and sweet dishes and serves as a seasoning, marinade or dip.

With this heat-resistant metal sieve, you can easily dissolve the paste into the hot stock by pushing the paste through the sieve using a standard spoon.
